I just love these Maya Road books they are so fun.I made this book for my sweet friend Ashely.I wanted to include some Irish blessings for her.She has traveled to Ireland a lot and its very special to us both. This Basic Grey paper fit perfect with the Irish theme I was looking for. I also found the most adorable stamps with children's quotes from inkadinkado. I am not a great stamper but I just couldn't help it they are just so sweet!! Dear Lizzy "Spring Book"

This little book came together so easy. I am so excited that I was able to use some of the pictures Anthony took his Sr year in high school for photography class. They where such beautiful pictures.Mckenna looks so little in the parade picture she always loves a parade and the princesses she still has the perfect princess wave down (Anthony didn't take that one ).

This Paper line is so sweet for spring projects I just love the fabric papers.Dear lizzy has a wonderful blog with so many ideas I am going to try some of the fabric flowers really soon.

Good Times Cosmo Cricket Snorkel Board Book

Ryan recently went to the Port Townsend marine center for a field trip.He begged and begged to take his dads new camara with him to take pictures.Against my better judgment his dad said yes.I should never have protested because I am so thankful for the wonderful pictures he took.I am so proud of him.I wanted to make him his own book and this paper just fit perfect.I used a maya road tab book and the 4x6 pictures fit so good on it.Ryan helped come up with the title and I left the journaling areas blank so he can fill them in.I used Martha Stewart microbeads for the title they are so fun they are my new favorite thing.I also used them inside to embellish :)

The Bike

Family fun festival was this weekend. The kids look forward to this fun event every year.We had fun visiting all the rooms. In the gym they always have a raffle and silent auction we all put or tickets in different things and hoped for a win.McKenna was so in love with this pretty pink bike with a Hannah Montana helmet. She had talked about it the days before. She had helped get ready for the auction on Friday and had taken the helmet up to the stage where they were setting all the items in preparation for Saturdays event. So to no ones surprise she wanted to put her ticket in that bag.I had no idea she was going to put all fourteen of them in.So we leave the festival and go to lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant. I was really enjoying this time together since we rarely have family days. I work the weekends when everyone else is home but this Saturday I was home really early. As we where waiting for our food McKenna starts saying "oh I sure hope I win that bike,I put all my tickets in for it.I want it so bad" just as she finishes telling us all this we get a phone call saying she won !!! The look on her face is forever burned in my head. She was so excited!!!! you could see she wanted to cry but didn't understand why.She of course was so excited to go get the bike she was all the sudden not very hungry and didn't even want her Shirley temple she looks so forward to. I am so thankful for this sweet moment with her that she and I will never forget.I am always reminded that its theses moments that make my life so great.
